Orange wines are the product of vinifying white grapes the way red wine is normally made. Instead of removing skins after grapes are pressed, the juice is fermented in contact with skins. Some wines can be very light in colour, almost yellow, some can be gold, some can be orange, amber and so on throughout the spectrum.
These orange wines are organic and biodynamic and are made naturally. Orange wine's producers work closely with the nature, respecting it.
They produce an unique and inimitable wine, in which you feel the terroir.
Between far north-eastern Italy and Slovenia there is an absolutely extraordinary and unique territory in terms of landscape, history and wine. This is the Collio (on the Italian side) and the Brda (on the Slovenian side) where, since ancient times, prestigious wines are produced, among the best in the world.
Seven wineries, seven remarkable producers who have contributed to make this region the main hotbed of the orange-wine production. Klinec, Movia, Kabaj, Atelier Kramar and Blazic from Slovenia, Radikon and Ronco Severo from Italy.
